Artwork We are all made of exploding stars

We are all made of exploding stars

CHF 0.00

Recycled neon, animators and motion sensors, approx. 3750 diameter.

Neon is all around us…in space, in the earth’s atmosphere, in the ocean, even tiny amounts in the air we breathe. This work uses neon gas that lights up with electricity representing an exploding star. It invites the audience to interact through movement, reminding us that we are all a part of this amazing universe.

Fiona Hillary’s large neon light installation activated light and colour to create a sun and star-like shape that was interactive via sensors located on the floor – as children walked near the installation, certain lights would shimmer on and off.
